Remembering Last Saturday Night

In her autobiography, Go-Go Jane Wiedlin mentions the adage "Never meet your heroes." It's a fair warning for readers.

Wiedlin says up front that she likes tell-all memoirs. There are many sex, drugs, and rock 'n' roll tales told in an easy-to-read style. She also reveals a lot about her mental health and relationship struggles. Still, the narrative often sounds like a teenager describing last Saturday night rather than an adult reflecting on a life and career.
She's still my favorite Go-Go, but not because of this book.
I received an advance reading copy from NetGalley.
